Loverly, the wedding startup that offers brides an online platform to plan every aspect of their wedding, announced today that Peggy Fry will join the team and take on the position of President and Chief Operating Officer.

First reported by TechCrunch, founder and CEO Kellee Khalil said that Fry is being brought on because of her “strategic business acumen combined with her ability to create monumental growth at major digital media companies.” Fry joins the NYC-based startup from the Vienna, VA-based AddThis – a company that specializes in creating content engagement tools, APIs and services across the Web – where she served as President of Advertiser and Publisher Solutions, and was responsible for revenue strategy and growth.

On top of Fry’s appointment to the roles at Loverly, Joanne Wilson (one of the company’s current investors) will join its Board of Directors.
