When it gets down to it, it’s really about the impact startups can have on our quality of life and the passion entrepreneurs bring to the table for their audience. That’s what entrepreneur Alexis Juneja shared with us when we interviewed her as part of Tech Cocktail’s Delivering Happiness series.

In terms of inspiration, Juneja, co-founder of Curbed Network, is inspired daily by her team who gets creative around the four vertical content sites they operate, which also happen to be topics people are very passionate about to begin with:

On her list of most interesting trends? The evolution of real-time, short-form news and content, like startup Quickish, an interesting new site in this arena that focuses on sports.

Juneja also shares some words from experience about starting up a new venture in a part-time capacity as you turn what might be a passion or hobby into a business. She and her co-founders worked on Curbed Network for three years and found solid traction before pulling in investors.
