Expand Your Professional Network Over a Meal With Bite to Meet

Location-based services have been popping up all over the place lately.  One of the newest iterations on the theme is Bite to Meet, a location-based service that connects you to others over a meal, allowing you to expand your professional network while enjoying great food.

While it almost sounds like a blind dating service for professionals who love to eat out, the Bite to Meet team’s goal is to make it easier for professionals to meet each other—the food is just a bonus.  It’s super easy to get started; just sign in using LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter.

While there are other companies out there that offer a similar service, Bite to Meet sets itself apart by being more location-focused, offering one-on-one meetings, and focusing on people rather than restaurants.

They just demo’d at Funded by Night in Detroit last week, so be sure to check them out if you missed that event.
