Comfort and Simplicity Define the Utillian 720 Vaporizer [Review]

Ever since the Volcano from Storz & Bickel, vaporizers have been a large part of smoking culture. And with the advent of portable models, more and more people have taken to vaping on a regular basis. But with so many different sizes, types, temperatures, colors, shapes, and selections, the possibilities are overwhelmingly endless. Fortunately, Toronto Vaporizer is releasing the Utillian 720, which will make the decision a whole lot easier.

The device is as easy-to-use as it is comfortable. Not only is it surrounded by a smooth rubber that feels great, it also possess only a single button, making everything from heating it up to turning it off as easy as a single (or double) click. While the cloud production leaves something to be desired, this handheld machine will make vaping a common occurrence for everyone that buys one.

Features and Specs

As you can see from the above picture, the Utillian 720 fits perfect in your hand. Not too big, not too small, not too short, and, unlike most vaporizers, not too tall. The swiveling mouthpiece allows for easy locking without worrying about where your putting your mouth.

The four settings available provide a wide range of temperatures for users, depending on what type of botanicals they prefer. With a simple double click of the multifunction button, you can switch between them. The light (shown above) will change from green to blue to purple to red, depending on the selected temperature. You can even hold down the multifunction button to engage a “heat-up” mode, that will increase the temperatures of each setting by 5 degrees.

I don’t know if it’s because I love having options or because my mental age is that of an adolescent teenager, but this simple feature made my feels go from “like” to “love” immediately.

Design and Functionality

The design was also one of my absolute favorite things about this device. The ease at which users can fill it up, turn it on, and start vaping is staggering. No complicated chambers and attachments. No confusing switches or knobs. Within just a few seconds, you’ll be on your way to a relaxing afternoon with your new favorite device.

As far as functionality is concerned, make sure to read the instructions before diving in. While the ease-of-use is substantial, getting acclimated to a new device takes some time. With a single multifunction button, you have to learn the commands before you start it up. And if you’ve used another vaporizer in the past, having a little crash course (in the form of the very short yet informative instructions manual) will go a long way in speeding up the process after purchase.

Pros & Cons

Pros
  • Simple to use
  • Comprehensive temperature levels (and corresponding lights)
  • Comfortable in your hand
Cons
  • Small cloud depending on botanical

Recommended to Buy

While my personal experience isn’t too expansive, I can safely say that the Utillian 720 vaporizer is one of the best. Between the small, comfortable design, the fun and comprehensive functionality, and the pretty lights, there is not much you can do to convince me otherwise. While the price tag is a bit high at $219.99, the investment would be more than worth it for avid users and tech amateurs.
