Cosmic Cart: Shop on Multiple Websites with One Shopping Cart

Everyone loves to do a little online research on what to buy people for Christmas. Personally, I seem to get a little carried away with what I want for myself. But on the odd occasion when I am thinking about others, several retailers get a small piece of my business.

Finding the right gift for loved ones means substantial research, and often results in finding products from a number of sites. Each site comes with its own online registration, which always includes giving up all your personal details in a time-consuming manner.

Well, Happy Holidays! My gift to you is Cosmic Cart. Now you can add products from those exciting boutique retailers and stores across the web, all into one magical shopping cart.

The team has developed a unique “tagging” technology that allows the consumer to shop from multiple sites and add all the goodies they find into one universal shopping cart.

While the benefits to the user may be quite obvious, the cart itself addresses a large-scale problem underlying online shopping, and that is lost sales due to “shopping cart abandonment.” According to Cosmic Cart, 67.93 percent of shoppers ditch their cart before purchase, which quickly puts into perspective how beneficial this could be for ecommerce.

Cosmic Cart was a showcased startup at our Tech Cocktail Week mixer in Las Vegas.
