DC Startup Distil Raises $1.8 Million

Distil, a DC startup that helps prevent content scraping from your website, today announced $1.8 million in seed funding led by ff Venture Capital. Distil was part of the TechStars Cloud accelerator in 2012, and TechStars also participated in the round. The funding will be used to expand the product and add new data centers, says CEO Rami Essaid.
