According to The Local, the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz, Germany, published a ruling on Tuesday saying that exes should delete nude photos and videos of their partners if requested.

A German couple brought the case to court, with the woman demanding that her ex delete photos and videos that had been taken with her consent.

The court ruled that her “personal rights” trump his ownership rights. But, the ruling continued, he shouldn’t have to delete photos where she is wearing clothes, since they are unlikely to be compromising.
