Experience Design Agency Manifest Digital Acquires Social Media Firm SocialKaty

The experience design agency Manifest Digital announced today that it has acquired the social media company SocialKaty for an undisclosed amount.

According to Manifest Digital - which is headquartered in Chicago, but also has an office in St. Louis – SocialKaty’s 25-person team will join the company’s current 130-person UX design, content marketing and social media team. The acquisition of the company gives clients from both a wider breadth of services.

“SocialKaty has grown so much in the past four years – in partnering with Manifest Digital we’ll be able to offer a wider breadth of services to our clients,” said Katy Lynch, SocialKaty co-founder, in the statement. “Our Fortune 500 clients will benefit from [Lynch’s] keen insight and appreciate her bold thinking. Adding her and her team to our portfolio creates a new team that truly offers the best and the brightest social media minds to our clients,” added Dan Curran, Creative Marketing President at Manifest Digital.

The SocialKaty team will continue to operate out of its current office at 116 W. Hubbard St. before moving into Manifest Digital’s space across the river at 35 E. Wacker in a few months.
