Jessica Kim Of BabbaCo On Building A Content And Commerce Parenting Brand

When Jessica Kim was becoming a parent she looked around and saw an opportunity in the parenting market. She jumped at the chance to create a lifestyle and parenting brand in BabbaCo, combining content and commerce. BabbaCo was part of the second class of Excelerate Labs in Chicago, which we covered previously. Since her time at the accelerator, Kim has changed her business to a subscription based model, secured funded and moved to Boston – and as you’ll see in the video, her energy cannot be contained.
Jessica shared some insights on her entrepreneurial journey and even addressed being a parent and running a startup. With two kids, another child on the way and a growing company, Jessica Kim is an inspiration for all the parents out there with an idea to start a business.
