LAST Festival Features Talks From Google, NASA, DARPA, and Pixar

The Life, Art, Science, and Technology (LAST) Festival is taking place this weekend in San Francisco, starting today. It’s a symposium and expo that celebrates the confluence of art with the multiplicity of new media technologies and nascent sciences emerging from the Bay Area.

The LAST Festival activities are taking place at ZERO1 Garage during San Jose’s SubZero Festival weekend. Part of the schedule includes a symposium on Saturday featuring talks from from Peter Norvig – Director of Research at Google, Daniel Kaufman – Director of the Information Innovation Office at DARPA, Chis McKay – Chief Planetary Scientist at NASA Ames, and Alvy Ray Smith – co-founder of Pixar.
