Maureen Morrison recently reported, for Advertising Age, that McDonald’s will be moving into Silicon Valley. Now, it’s not what you might think – with McDonald’s opening new franchises in the area.
Rather, McDonald’s Chief Digital Officer Atif Rafiq set out specifically to open a new office on Market Street in San Francisco. The idea, from Rafiq’s perspective, is that McDonald’s newest office will help them better recruit and retain digital talent.
“The Office is one of several things we’re doing to grow our focus on digital and be more consumer-centric,” says Rafiq in Morrison’s article.
