Today Mobilligy announced the formal exit of their beta testing phase with the full release of their bill-pay app for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle, Windows 8, and Windows Phone. Mobilligy is an official Microsoft BizSpark Plus member, a participant in the 2012 Azure Accelerator, and they also completed the TechStars program in 2013.
The co-founders Ty Griffin and Steve Gordon designed Mobilligy as a central solution for managing monthly bill payments; Mobilligy lets anybody pay their bills for free from their smartphone or tablet. The app also automatically syncs with billers to show up-to-date bills and account balances.
The app then imports customers’ bills directly into the app while simultaneously doing all the thinking and organizing for them. Mobilligy accepts credit cards, debit cards, and bank accounts as viable methods of payment to ensure customers hit no roadblocks when paying their bills.
“Consumers are chronically underserved by existing financial institutions and are constantly under the gun from an endless string of billers that are hard to keep track of—many with punitive fee structures,” says Griffin. “We are convinced that now is the time to provide consumers with a better option.”
During the beta run, Mobilligy had a resounding wave of support from their early users in the form of five-star ratings. Now that the app is available to an even wider audience range, the Mobilligy team is looking forward to eliminating the stress and hassle of monthly bill payment for even more people.
