Startups are always competing for the top spot in their field. Whether it’s edtech startups trying to make a name for themselves in schools across the country or analytic companies vying for more attention from data businesses, there is no end to the competition in the startup world. And thanks to Steve Case and Revolution, the Rise of the Rest tour will help to narrow the field of the west’s best startups.
On October 5th, the startup tour will continue its journey through the west in Utah, more specifically Salt Lake City and Provo. Competitors and attendees will be treated to incredible views, friendly locals, and more culture than you can shake a stick at. Tech.Co’s own Frank Gruber will be in attendance and is more than happy to meet fans interested in the startup life.
The Rise of the Rest startup bus tour is aimed at highlighting cities leading the charge in a new era of technological revitalization. Since its inception in 2014, Steve Case has invested more than $2 million in 20 startups across 20 cities in the United States. This year, he is giving away $100,000 in funding to one startup from each city.
