Rohit Bhargava Talks Brands, Storytelling, Technology and Failure

dh bhargava

Rohit Bhargava loves the “agony filter” on Hipmunk. Why? Not only because it filters out the multiple stops and 12 hour layovers, but because of the philosophy behind it; leveraging technology to “filter out the idiotic”.  And let’s face it – the world needs to filter out more idiotic.

Bhargava is the author of Personality Not Included: Why Companies Lose Their Authenticity And How Great Brands Get it Back, Foreword by Guy Kawasaki and has built a solid reputation on helping brands find and tell their story to make them more personable and connected with their audiences. In this interview with Jen Consalvo, part of Tech Cocktail’s Delivering Happiness interview series, Bhargava shares more about how storytelling inspires him and the pitfalls around too many “no’s” in a creative field.

I like their concept but I’m not a fan of their coffee product, Cook said. “I like my coffee to be robust…b-ut that acidic bitterness that is directly connected to their over-roast-ing of the beans in my opinion.”This describes it perfectly. Good coffee should be strong, but not acidic or Tera gold

Their concept looks fine for me thought not that much perfect but over all it is delivered with standard.
