On Wednesday, RoundPegg, a Boulder, CO-based company that offers tools focused on highlighting a company’s culture, announced that it has formed a partnership with Pathfinder Solutions to offer those same services to nonprofit organizations at discounted rates.

“We believe our communities are greatly enriched by the work of cause-focused organizations, and that it is important for RoundPegg to be involved philanthropically,” said Tim Wolters, co-founder and EVP of RoundPegg in a press release. “We have proven that having an aligned culture provides our for-profit customers a powerful return on their investment, and cause-focused organizations will now enjoy the same benefits.”

RoundPegg’s main offering is a platform that allows companies to quantify their company culture and utilize that in hiring, developing, and engaging employees. Pathfinder Solutions is a nonprofit research and advisory firm with specialties in talent development and organizational development for caused-focused organizations. Through this partnership, RoundPegg will be offering the platform, as well as specialized consulting services and benefits to nonprofits, foundations, government agencies, and corporate citizenship or education programs.

When running an organization, culture is essential to nearly every aspect of that organization’s operations. In the long-run, the overall success or failure of an organization really boils down to whether 1) an organization has established any semblance of culture and 2) whether the people within that organization fit in with it. This culture, however, can only be cultivated through the people themselves, so companies must have the capacity to allow it to develop and to support its people.

“After years of research focused on the correlation between talent development and the impact of cause-focused organizations, we have identified culture alignment and staff engagement strategies as two of the most important ways for organizations to achieve better results,” said Alexandra Mitchell, co-founder and President of Pathfinder.

With this strategic partnership at hand, low-cost culture development tools can now be utilized by nonprofit organizations that normally would not have access to them.
