Employers hoping to drive their business to success need to pin down a few practices, and one of the most important is building a solid team. But picking through social media accounts and resumes can be an inefficient and time-consuming way to sort through potential hires.

Enter Kareer.Me, a startup that hopes to modernize the recruitment and employment process. Kareer.Me was founded in 2011 by Matt Wickstrand, out of frustration with the current hiring paradigm, which is often impersonal and fragmented. The look and feel of Kareer.Me is exquisite, and job seekers can easily browse through companies’ branded profiles.

Employers using the site can create a customized company profile, branded with embedded images and video, in just a few clicks. The site features a slew of unique features, including the ability to create a virtual office tour for interested candidates to gauge the look and feel of your workspace. Companies can add team member profiles and take advantage of an iconic, pictorial representation of company perks, like pet-friendliness, unlimited sick days, a ping-pong table, a nap room, etc. Finally, Kareer.Me compiles quotes, articles, and tweets about the company all in one place. Showing off your company culture has never been easier.

New job openings are automatically promoted through Kareer.Me’s social networks, providing a boost for employers. But the site makes things much easier for job seekers, as well. Talent can search for new jobs and create personalized, private online resumes that are uniquely tailored for each company or position. And waiting around for feedback becomes a thing of the past, as Kareer.Me carefully tracks each resume to let job seekers know how many times their resume has been viewed or forwarded in an email, so they can be sure to follow up while they’re already fresh in an employer’s mind.

With secure codes and links, job seekers can also be sure their private information is being viewed only by individuals engaged in the hiring process. The private links allow job seekers to take their resumes off of Kareer.Me for sharing on other professional sites like LinkedIn, Twitter, or Monster. New resumes can be made in just two clicks and personalized for other openings. Job seekers can even upload photos and other portfolio materials to make their applications come to life. The site also makes it easy to record and send an introductory pitch video, ensuring candidates can stand out among a sea of qualified applicants.

Currently, Kareer.Me has three flexible and affordable pricing options for job seekers, who can create up to three resumes for free, or pay $9 to create 10 resumes a month. The third option charges the users $14 per month for an unlimited number of resumes. To learn more about employer costs, visit Kareer.Me’s site here.
