Small businesses can now get a little extra something out of their countless expenditures… at least, something in addition to a successful business. The new Chase Ink Business PreferredSM credit card will, according to the company, offer today’s businesses “three points per dollar on the first $150,000 spent each account anniversary year in combined purchases on travel, shipping purchases, advertising purchases with search engines and social media sites, and on internet, cable and phone services.”

New card members will get 80,000 bonus points (worth $1,000 in travel value) following the first $5,000 they spend, and they’ll earn one point per dollar they spend, forever.

The Card Helps Small Businesses Grow

Having a financial plan as a startup can go a long way in faciliating success. That is what this card is trying to do.

“The way small business owners have to run their business and stay ahead is constantly changing,” said Pam Codispoti, president of Chase Branded Cards, in a press release on the new service. “We designed Chase Ink Business Preferred with today’s small business owners in mind so they can earn more points in growing categories like digital advertising and, in turn, redeem points to help fuel the growth of their business.”

Points can be redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards, for cash, or for gift cards. If your business is involved with other major frequent traveler programs, you can transfer points for their full value. Either way, points earned through Chase Ink won’t expire as long as the account is open.

The card comes with a $95 annual fee for the card, though there is no annual fee the first year for accounts opened at a branch.
