Technology in the mobile phone industry has really changed over the last decade. New tablets and smartphones are scheduled to be launched in 2014. Below are some of the top gadgets that will soon grace the mobile phone market.
LG G Pro 2
This will be the first-ever curved-POLED-screen smartphone and is expected to be six inches long. It has a high-definition display that delivers up to 720-pixel resolution. This is way higher than most similar phones in the market. Other additional features to look for include 3GB Random Access Memory (RAM), a 2.3GHZ quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and an LTE connectivity feature. Its 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization will surely redefine how we take pictures. Additionally, this camera is capable of capturing a 4K video.
This is another great product from Google and LG that will be released around Christmas 2014. It will have a 64-bit processor and a 3GB RAM to help you access and process unlimited data at lightning speed. Its 5.2-inch 2560p resolution display will make it easy to view high-definition images and videos. The Nexus 6 has Bluetooth and infrared connectivity features that you can use to share files without other electronic gadgets that have the same capabilities.
Nokia Lumia 930
This is the new Nokia phone that has yet to be released into the market. It is said to come with a 4.5-inch display that has a total resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Other features that will give it an upper hand in the market include a 20-megapixel Pure View camera. It is rumored to run on the Windows Phone operating system, hence it could be incompatible with most Android-enabled phones.
Samsung P901 tablet
This stylish tablet is expected to hit the market in August. It will have a 13.3-inch display and 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution. Unlike other tablets that are literally unusable in bright sunlight, this one offer a 170-degree viewing angle, allowing you to browse the Internet or read documents no matter your location. It will be running on Android 4.2.2 and Windows 8 and compatible with virtually all mobile applications.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2
According to Microsoft, this tablet will be made available to customers in October. One feature that gives this tablet an upper hand is the screen that, apart from having high-resolution capacity, has multiple aspect ratios.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z
This will be one of the top 4G-enabled tablets in the market. With its 13- and 11-inch duo slider display enhanced with Haswell chips, this tablet can carry out literally any task.
2014 will surely be a year full of surprises in the mobile and tablet industry.
