Whew! It’s been almost a month since I launched my book, Startup Mixology: Tech Cocktail’s Guide to Building, Growing, and Celebrating Startup Success.
I’ve been busy with a book tour (join us!), speaking with other great panelists in DC, Miami, Vegas, San Francisco, and Dallas. I got to sit down with lots of the entrepreneurs quoted in the book, who were really my inspiration for writing it.
We’ve also gotten some coverage in the press, which I thought I’d share. A few of these articles give you a preview of the book’s content or embellish on themes in the book. If you haven’t bought it yet, get it here!
Dave Kerpen interviewed me about some of my favorite lessons from entrepreneurs like Tim O’Shaughnessy of LivingSocial, Reid Hoffman of LinkedIn, and Cindy Gallop of MakeLoveNotPorn.
I talked to Randi Zuckerberg about my favorite advice, celebration, marketing, and being a digital nomad.
The Chicago Tribune interviewed me and reviewed my book, focusing on the harsh reality and celebration themes.
Ken Yeung: “Startup Mixology” Is a Handy, Quick Guide with the Recipe on How to Be a Winning Entrepreneur
Marketer Ken Yeung did one of the most comprehensive reviews of Startup Mixology, concluding that it’s an optimistic book that’s particularly helpful for first-time entrepreneurs. Thanks, Ken!
I did a quick segment on BlogTalkRadio about the book.
We also did some guest blogging about Startup Mixology:
My cofounder Jen Consalvo told seven of the harsh reality stories from the book from entrepreneurs like Tony Hsieh, Dina Kaplan, and Sean Percival.
I go more in-depth into my philosophy of celebration, including the science behind it, some examples, and why it’s particularly important for startups.
