10 Startups Showcase at Tech Cocktail Mixer in Vancouver

Our Tech Cocktail Vancouver mixer is on July 9th, and we are really looking forward to hanging out with the great tech crowd here. This event is very much focused on the future as we partner with Futurists:BetaLaunch as part of the World Future Conference by the World Future Society, a 45-year old non-profit organization dedicated to advancing ideas of the future.  Thanks so much to our community partner, Bootup, for helping us make this happen!

Carrotlines:This new iPhone app allows you to scan barcodes at the grocery store and know instantly if an item meets your dietary needs.

SmartAisles: They provide personalized savings as you shop, based on your location, by aggregating in-store retail products’ deals and coupons and displaying them on your smartphone.

VenueWize: This new event management dashboard lets you collaborate with team members to create and edit guest lists, as well as to add and remove guests during the event.

TaxiNow: This free app allows anyone to see the exact location of nearby available taxis over your iPhone or Android map and hail it with one simple click.

Jostle.me: Their SaaS platform provides a simple, elegant way for employees to navigate, explore and search their large organization across silos, locations and systems.

ToggleTo: Their web based QR code campaign management system has everything mobile marketers need to create, manage, measure, test and tweak their QR code campaigns.

ForTwoPlease: They provide couples and dating singles (available in Vancouver only for now) with great local date ideas and deals including discounts at restaurants, hotels and activities.

Freq Industries: Their first product, 11s, is a wireless independent stereo system that allows you to get awesome sound via your iDevice or USB-supported device wherever you are.

Kiip.me: Their mobile advertising platform allows brands and agencies to reach more than 15 million active gamers.
