Showcasing Philly Startups

Nestled between Washington, D.C. and New York, Philadelphia has been the centerpiece of American history. But aside from our founding fathers, Philly is also home to a rich community of technologists and entrepreneurs anchored by some great venture funds and angel investors. It’s taken us a while but we knew we’d eventually get there – it’s time for TECH cocktail Philly!

We’ll be hosting our first Philadelphia event on Thursday, August 12th at the Field House Sports Bar and will showcase some of the hot new technology startup companies in the area.

Past events  in other cities have showcased startups such as: BandsInTown, OneForty, SCVNGR, SocialThing, Crowdspring, FiltrBox, GeniusRocket and hundreds more.

Connecting Startups and Investors – To continue to add value and stay true to our “cocktail mixer of tech people” theme, we are calling all Philly-area entrepreneurs looking for seed funding or angel investors as we will be trying to help match local startups with local seed or angel investors. If you are an angel investor interested in finding additional deal flow we look to help you too. We know that this type of connection has happened naturally at our events in the past, but we want to help water the seeds a bit and ensure that the fruit of our labor is a better connected entrepreneurial community.
