The Internship Movie: Spotlights Google’s Campus and Culture On Big Screen

This summer, aside from the opportunity to intern for companies and startups around the country (like this opportunity with Tech Cocktail), you can watch a Google internship play out on the big screen. The Internship features Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as ex-salesmen who defy the odds by talking their way into an internship at Google. Watch The Internship movie trailer (below).

Google’s iconic campus in Mountain View, California, with its self-driving cars, campus bikes and other features, is something that has been highly talked about and covered but never as a comedy featuring such celebrities as this film. So it seems like the film will be a great marketing opportunity for the company, which, despite it’s global success as a brand, must still compete for top employees and mindshare in areas such as social networking. The Internship movie is set to debut on June 7, 2013 and we cannot wait to see it. We’ll be watching how it stacks up against other famous movies featuring Internet brands like You’ve Got Mail and The Social Network.
