Science Inc. Launches Urban Remedy, Nutritional Juice Delivery Startup; Adds $1M in Funding

This morning,  Science Inc. has announced the launch of their latest operation, Urban Remedy, a wellness-focused startup that delivers juices, meal replacements, and healthy snacks.  The company launches with $1 million in seed funding from Science and a group of angels with experience in the beverage industry.

Urban Remedy is lead by Neka Pasquale, a certified Traditional Chinese Nutritionist, acupuncturist, healer, and entrepreneur.  Pasquale also leads 3-5 day juice, raw food and yoga retreats in near her homebase in Marin County, CA.

Pasquale’s juices are commonly used as part of a longer cleanse, including their three main packages, Super Green, Purify, and The Signature, which provides 10 lbs. worth of vegetables in a day’s supply of juice.
