YPlan is Tonight’s Going Out App, And They Just Launched in Vegas

First it was London, then New York and San Francisco, and now Las Vegas: Get ready Sin City, because YPlan is launching in your city today. YPlan, also referred to as tonight’s going out app, connects residents and visitors alike with events happening around a city.

YPlan has a curation team on the ground that is constantly searching for the best happenings all around a specific city. The Las Vegas iteration of the app will offer access to pool parties, shows, restaurants, clubs, and concerts.

“Las Vegas is known for its stellar nightlife, making the city a natural fit for YPlan,” says Rytis Vitkauskas, YPlan CEO and founder. “The people who visit and live in Las Vegas are looking for amazing spontaneous experiences, and until now there hasn’t been a convenient way of booking tickets here.”

Alongside the news of launching in Las Vegas, YPlan is also introducing a new feature on the platform. The partner portal was designed to help event partners, venues, promoters, and event coordinators access and control the details of their events better; last month alone, event partners reported adding an additional 8,000 tickets to their events via the portal.

“Las Vegas doesn’t necessarily have the population like LA, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, or DC,” says Vito Iaia, the North American Managing Director for YPlan. “What it does have though, is this problem: If there is a city in which people need help making last-minute entertainment decisions, it’s Las Vegas.”

While the future remains mostly under wraps with regard to YPlan’s next move, I was able to find out that Los Angeles will definitely be the next market they expand to. After that, Vito informs me that there will be plenty of other big cities announced by the end of 2014, both domestically and internationally.
