Top 10 Seattle Startups to Watch

In case you haven’t heard, apps are being downloaded an average of zero times per month nowadays. It’s getting tougher to break through to consumers who are happily bouncing back and forth between their Facebook Messenger and Twitter apps, with a little Uber in between. But when it comes to job searching, people are still willing to make the trip to the App store. At least, I just did.

Product Hunt’s latest reveal is the startup job search app 500 Miles. The app is a streamlined path to the trending startups across a variety of metrics. But the really good stuff are the extra charts and data that the app holds about each company: You can see the average employee’s years of work experience, average attrition times, and the average time each employee spends at the company, as well as which companies the employees worked at previously and what colleges they attended.

You can also comb through different “stacks” in your startup job search, from “Andreessen Horowitz’s Portfolio Companies” to “Top Female Hiring Tech Companies.” Here’s a selection from “Seattle Startups to Watch“:
