3 Apps That Can Help You Survive Your New Year’s Day Hangover

Brace yourself; the first hangover of the year is upon us. New Year's celebrations may have gotten carried away, and although you said “no” to some of the shots offered, it was just too much (Sigh). The good news is that there are a few apps out there that could maybe help you survive this “challenging” day.

Grab some water and download these apps:

1. Hangover Cures

For when your hangover kicks in, there are a few remedy options that you can try. From the common-sense to the old wives tales, one of these should work for you. It's available for Android.

2. BrainWave Hangover Relief

The app synchronizes your brainwaves to a specific frequency by sending two different audible frequencies to each ear, which after being processed are perceived as low frequency tone-matching human brainwaves. Studies have shown various states of mind to be associated with these low frequencies, ranging from an alert and focused state to deep sleep.

3. Caktus

You know the drill: drink A LOT of water. Dehydration is part of, but not the sole cause of, the hangover. But if you are too busy going through insufferable agony to think about hydration, there's an app for that. Caktus is providing an innovative solution for tracking water intake and coaching you towards a more balanced hydration.

Although not in this list, but worth a mention, Taco Bell's new app and the Domino's Pizza app could also prove to be handy in desperate times.
