3 Mars Rovers and What They’re Doing Now

Thanks to Elon Musk, the world is talking about Mars again. Between the production of returning rockets and a general aura of innovation, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX has reinvigorated the space discussion in this country and around the world. Whether you believe the moon is made of cheese or hope to be the first human beings on Mars, one thing is for sure: space is cool again!

In honor of Red Planet Day, we wanted to revisit some of the only human-made objects that have graced the surface of the Red Planet in recent years: Mars rovers. These interstellar robots have done everything from search for water to determine the potential for microbial life and some of them are still roving around the Red Planet today.
