We are excited to be in Philly this week working with the support of startup incubator DreamIt Ventures, local organization Philly Startup Leaders, and local entrepreneurial co-working space, Indy Hall to present our first TECH cocktail Philly startup mixer. As many of you know we have hosted similar mixers across the country in Chicago, DC, Boston, Boulder, Detroit, San Diego and more but this is our first time to Philly. Regardless of which community we are in we have the same mission, as we look to help amplify, educate and better connect the local startup technology community through the use of our startup mixers and social and new media platforms.

For our event in Philly, we have selected the following nine startups and offered them free “showcased startup” spots to demo in an expo-style:

Adapt.ly – allows businesses to create a single ad and deploy it on multiple social ad networks instantly.

Campus Sponsorship – a 21st century bake sale! It’s a website where college orgs can raise money by doing easy sponsored activities.

Easel – an interactive learning environment on iPads and gives students instant help.

GiveLoop – a new tool that enables donors to “vote with their money” increasing transparency & communication in online donations.

MatchLend – makes it easy for small businesses to get equipment loans as a clearinghouse for the fragmented/inefficient finance industry.

Numote – finding great shows to watch from friends, keep track of gossip & more, Numote makes it simple to enjoy content with friends.

Squoot – a fun way to get your friends together to do the things you want. Think an “aspirational Foursquare”.

TicketLeap – a lightweight online ticketing platform designed to make creating events and selling tickets easier than it’s ever been.

Vozeeme – an online marketplace focusing on the $100 billion US freight market.

So we hope you get a chance to check out these Philly-based startups and look forward to seeing you at our next event. Check out the most up-to-date TECH cocktail event schedule. We hope to see you soon!
