Starting in October, Chicago residents can subscribe to Amazing Lunch Club to get healthy lunches delivered to their door for only $10.

Amazing Lunch Club will be cooking the high-protein, low-carb meals in its Chicago kitchen. Lunches will be organic, mostly gluten-free, and featuring only wild-caught fish and grass-fed beef – ranging from spicy shrimp tacos to salmon with avocado corn salsa.

“We like to say each meal is large enough for a man, and pretty enough to Instagram,” their website explains.

The process is pretty simple. Every day, you’ll get an email with the next day’s meal and its nutrition information. If you want it, you choose a delivery time between 11 am and 2 pm. Meals can be delivered seven days a week to your home or office, and the same meal won’t be served more than once a month.

A monthly subscription to Amazing Lunch Club gets you five meals for $50, and each additional meal will cost $9.95.

It seems like a low price for food and delivery, but the new startup has worked hard to keep costs down. Food will be sourced locally and bought in bulk by Zachary Roman, Amazing Lunch Club’s head chef. And tips aren’t included.

They’ve also set up a well-oiled delivery system to save time and ensure that food arrives hot. Amazing Lunch Club delivers to downtown Chicago, which is split up into zones. Meal boxes are marked with a time and a zone, so one delivery guy might pick up all the meals for 12 pm in River North. And they will stack the meals in a special container to keep food piping hot en route.

“You can have a great healthy meal, keep the energy up, while not really stretching your wallet,” says CEO David Pazdernik.

Amazing Lunch Club is offering Tech Cocktail readers a special 20% discount that lasts as long as you’re a member. Sign up with the code “BULLS88.”
