Today’s work climate has created an influx of emerging trends. From the rise of remote working to freelancers, the economy has created the gig economy – an economy that places emphasis on workers taking control of their work and guiding themselves through business without the guide of an in-office supervisor.

And even if there are conflicting opinions about the impact that the gig economy will have on the future of work, the gig economy will undoubtedly be here to stay. After all, the American work culture is constantly changing. Digital trends are influencing how we work today, and we’re no longer tied down by physical offices or even a traditional work schedule. It’s important that we’re able to grasp how to use these trends to our advantage.
