After a networking event, don’t you hate dealing with all the business cards? Often those little rectangles turn into a stack of small dust collectors. Or maybe they sit in piles until you thumb through them, searching for that one person you need to contact.
Get Rid of the Paper
If they annoy you, you’re not alone. has decided to fix the problem. “Business cards are stupid,” said Lim, and I think most of us would agree.
From the man who brought us the Lavu restaurant POS software, he’s ready with his next big idea. His new app will not only eliminate the need to deal with business cards, but the other thing Lim has identified as a problem: passwords. On Thursday, May 26, the world will get to see just how he solved those issues.
Making It Happen
Lim personally raised funds for Lavu (up to $15 million) as well as Addmi.
“If you can show people a good product – you have to show that it works and how powerful and different it is,” said Lim “Work tirelessly on the product and have a demo so people can see how it works.”
On May 26, the city of Albuquerque will get to see all of that tireless work that Andy and his team have put into Addmi. The unveiling will happen in conjunction with demos from other innovative companies in Albuquerque. Event Tickets are available for the “Tech.Co ABQ Demo Night” being held at the El Rey Theater, 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
A Growing Entrepreneurial Environment
Lim is happy to see events like this and all the startup activities happening in Albuquerque:
“I think we will grow and there are a lot of seeds being planted right now. One thing we know for sure is that the tech community and the entrepreneurial community is growing.”
So, help continue the community growth by attending this event and supporting our local entrepreneurs. Hope to see you there and I can’t wait to throw away all my business cards!
