AngelSummit.io has made it their mission to host the world’s premier conferences for current and aspiring startup investors to learn about investing in startups. In an effort to keep this mission alive and well on a global scale, they recently announced that AngelSummit Europe will take place from June 22 to 23 in Madrid, Spain.
AngelSummit Europe will bring together leaders from across the globe for a two day conference on the future of startup investing. The team is expecting to have participants like forward-thinking investors, entrepreneurs, and trail-blazing corporate innovation and community leaders from the EU, the US, Latin America, and beyond.
“Startups are everywhere, but venture capital isn’t. We’re on a mission to eliminate the problem of ‘access to capital’ by unleashing the potential of millions of new startup investors around the world,” says Startup Angels founder and CEO, Leslie Jump.
The goals of the conference, according to the team, are clearly defined: frame the startup investing landscape to facilitate new opportunities and partnerships, ultimately increasing startup investing.
The summit will open on June 22 at the new Campus Madrid as part of the celebrations around its opening. There will be corporate and community partners including INCYDE, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Global Accelerator Network (GAN).
“We believe that entrepreneurship is thriving in Spain and across the region and the world. We’re thrilled to see more global investors convening here. One of our key goals with Campus Madrid is to provide a hub for the entrepreneur community to connect, learn, and get the resources they need to go global. Access to capital is a critical ingredient here and we’re delighted to host the AngelSummit Europe at Campus Madrid as part of our launch celebrations,” says Mary Grove, Director of Google for Entrepreneurs.
If you’re interested in going to see what Madrid, and the rest of the global community, has to offer you can get your tickets here.
“After more than 15 years fostering the entrepreneurial activity, we can say that in Spain we have promising startups and great entrepreneurial talent. Today, Madrid is becoming a worthwhile startup hotspot in Europe” says INCYDE Foundation General Manager, Javier Collado.
