I wish Apen Smart Pens had been around when I was in college.   Their 4 pens let you digitize everything you write or draw – it would have been so much easier to keep class notes organized!  But this looks like a great tool for everyone, especially startup teams who exist in a constant state of inspiration and collaboration.

All 4 Apen pens are compatible with JPEG, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Outlook.  Whatever notes you take can be shared on social networking sites and via email, text, and even a projector in a meeting room.

Here’s a quick rundown on what they do:

A1 Smart Pen: $79.99
Write and draw on paper and computer screens.

A2 Smart Pen: $99.99

Write and draw without connecting to a computer – this pen imports everything to your computer for you.

A3 Smart Pen: $129.99
Write on paper, and it shows up on your smart phone. It also has a Bluetooth feature, so you can sync files to your Blackberry or Android.

A4 Smart Pen:  $129.99
Write or draw on paper, and it displays on your iPad or iPhone.

Pretty cool!  If you have used one, please let us know what you think – leave a comment below!
