Atlanta Tech Accelerator Flashpoint Raises Second Round of $1M fund

Flashpoint, an Atlanta venture aimed at launching the next generation of tech startups, has raised its second $1 million fund.

As reported today in Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Georgia Tech based accelerator has helped seed startups who have collectively raised more than $65 million from firms including Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins and Andreessen Horowitz.

With this new round of fund, Flashpoint plans to invests about $20,000 in each of the startups in exchange for equity.  Accepted startups are offered work space at Tech Square and go through a “startup course” that includes mentorship.
