It was announced this morning that loyalty rewards company Belly has expanded internationally, launching 50 locations in the Vancouver market. This is the company’s first move beyond the United States.

Since its founding in 2011, the Chicago-based company has gained more than 3 million members, who have redeemed more than 1 million rewards through its loyalty rewards mobile app. Belly’s loyalty program is currently available at more than 7,000 businesses across the United States, and expects even more growth as they develop their presence on an international scale.

As part of the market expansion into Vancouver, Belly plans to hire locally to build its sales team. This year alone, the company has already made more than 50 hires in engineering and sales, including the addition of vice president of engineering Fred Lee.
