The madness of Black Friday doesn’t just limit itself to expensive items like smart TVs or phones. An affordable device like a quality Chromebook could also see some further serious price dives during Black Friday, making it the perfect time to pick up a true Chromebook bargain.

Keep an eye out, and you could steal a serious deal on one of these affordable computing devices. Remember though: Just because the price is low, doesn’t mean you should rush into a hasty decision.

Lucky for you, we’ve done the research on the top brands this holiday, so you can sit back and enjoy the savings.

Why would you want a Chromebook as your next computer? Price and simplicity, that’s why. They’re seriously cheap, and super easy to use. They start up in moments and many have all-day battery life.

Best Asus Chromebook Black Friday Deals

Asus has steadily become one of the most popular brands for Chrome OS laptops. The Taiwanese company is one of the top consumer notebook vendors in the world, so you know you can’t go wrong with their devices.

Asus has a wide range of models you can choose from. Whether you’re looking for a Chromebook that’s ruggedly durable or uniquely functional, Asus will have the feature-heavy, 360-degree hinge equipped device you’re looking for.

Many Asus models have a good chance of dropping in price on Black Friday, too. Considering their most popular model, the Asus Chromebook Flip, has dipped in price considerably in the past, it’s worth keeping an eye on this year.

Pros

  • 360-degree hinge + touch screen
  • Very lightweight
  • Stunning display

Cons

  • Not the best battery life by Chromebook standards

Pros

  • Drop and spill-proof

Best Acer Chromebook Black Friday Deals

Another Taiwanese powerhouse in the consumer technology space, Acer has an extensive laptop lineup, with nearly a dozen available models for you to choose from.

Acer Chromebooks are definitely among the cheapest you can buy, providing some impressively high performance laptops for low, low prices. Though you’re not spending much, with the simplicity of Chrome OS (no buggy programs or Windows-targeted viruses), an Acer Chromebook will last you a long time.

While Acer did just release a number of new models this year, they’re unlikely to enjoy the largest discounts on Black Friday. We’ve provided a few links to well-reviewed models that have a good chance of saving you a pretty penny, so check them out below.

Pros

  • 15.6-inch touch screen display
  • Long lasting battery

Cons

  • Underwhelming screen resolution

Best Dell Chromebook Black Friday Deals

Dell is a laptop stalwart, well known for its Windows devices. Since 1984, they’ve churned out high performance, well-run laptops that aren’t always stylish, but always deliver.

As for its selection of Chromebooks, Dell offers a pretty small lineup. However, the devices available are fast and affordable, varying in display size from 11 inches to nearly 14 inches.

Black Friday is a great time to check out big deals on items such as the Dell Chromebook 3180, as the price is prone to shifting. It’s currently at its lowest price, but check back throughout the period to see if it drops even lower.

Pros

  • Durable
  • Affordable
  • Great battery life

Cons

  • Poor speaker quality
  • Small keyboard

Best HP Chromebook Black Friday Deals

HP is another one of those brands that you’re probably familiar with if you’ve ever looked for a computer. Known for sleek laptops and desktops, HP has garnered a reputation for producing lightweight, functional devices at reasonable prices.

HP offers a few choice Chromebooks that range in price from $179 to $575, run Intel processors and graphics cards, and reportedly have very crisp and clean displays. HP has memory ranges from 4GB-8GB across the lineup, with additional storage options for all of them.

On Black Friday, look out as some of the newer HP Chromebooks may dip in price. Last year, some HP models fell well below the $200 mark. The newest HP Chromebook 14, in particular, could seriously save you some green.

Pros

  • 12-hour battery life
  • Very lightweight

Cons

  • Weak display
  • Little storage

Best Google Pixelbook Black Friday Deals

Yes, Google was a little late to the hardware game, despite being the company behind the innovative Chrome OS operating system. But, with the undeniable success of the Pixel smartphone lineup, it’s safe to say Google knows what it’s doing.

Google recently threw its brand power into the market with the Pixelbook. Between the four different design modes, the Google specific features, and built-in Google Assistant, it might just be worth the eye-watering price tag – particularly if you can get it for a deal on Black Friday.

Luckily, there’s a pretty good chance that’ll happen. Despite the nearly $1,000 list price, the Pixelbook dipped as low as $750 earlier this summer, so Black Friday deals will likely bring it down to at least that low.

Pros

  • Feature heavy, premium Chromebook
  • Outstanding screen quality
  • Google Assistant built in

Cons

  • Incredibly expensive, so hold out for a Black Friday bargain
