Fitness and wellness trackers aren’t new to the market. Between smartwatches, FitBits and wearables, there is no shortage of devices that can track your health goals. Unfortunately, these devices and softwares either require a great deal of personal attention to be accurate or lack a substantial amount of information to get on the right track. Fortunately, BioRing does it all. And it fits on your finger to avoid that awkward wrist tan.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “This is just another fitness tracker that you wear on your finger instead of your wrist.” You could not be more wrong. This incredibly advanced device does more than keep track of how many steps you take or your barely accurate heart rate. The BioRing records stress levels and sleep status. It monitors activity intensity and calorie intake. It even processes those calories and can tell you how many grams of protein, fat and carbohydrates you have consumed on a daily basis. And it does all this without any input from the user other than a ring on their finger.

Now, I definitely know what you’re thinking. “How in the world is that possible?!” I know you’re thinking that because that’s what I yelled at my computer one minute into watching the Indiegogo campaign video. I even asked my health professional girlfriend if this was possible and she said, “I don’t know, maybe?” While these devices have not hit the market yet, the explanation in the video below is fairly comprehensive, although I’m far from an expert. They claim to measure water and glucose levels in your body in order to decide which types of nutrients you are eating. Sounds legit, right?

The Indiegogo campaign in question is still 19 days from completion. And yet, this stunningly futuristic technology is such a draw that they have already more than doubled their goal. The products in question are going for a mere $199 for early bird supporters. Jump on these prices now before they realize that they have a one million dollar idea on their hands.
