Blu Trumpet Makes App Monetization and Mobile Advertising a Win-Win-Win

Until Blu Trumpet came along, monetizing an app was tricky and advertising in the mobile space was annoying (banner ads and pop-ups are so Web 1.0).  Blu Trumpet, which just graduated from Hatch Labs in NYC, has tackled both problems in one fell swoop, solving the app monetization issue for publishers and developers and allowing advertisers to get noticed for all the right reasons.

Blu Trumpet is integrated into an app’s tab bar, allowing you, the app users, to feel like you are discovering an advertiser, rather than the advertiser getting forced upon you.

The benefits just keep on coming.  For consumers, you can find cool apps by looking through their in-app ad platform, called the app wall, that recommends other apps based on those that you’re already using.  For developers, this is super great – more people will get more exposure to your app.

For potential advertisers wary of spending a boatload on advertising and not have it pay off, Blu Trumpet charges by cost per install (CPI), so you are only paying for someone who downloaded your app – which is the whole point anyway.
