Although we tend to focus on the startup entrepreneur at Tech Cocktail, every once in a while we catch a corporate sales concept that we need to share. After all, sales are critical to even the smallest business.
This week, Blackboard, a corporate learning solution based in DC, announced the development of a new application on Salesforce.com’s Force.com platform. The application will feature training and sales information seamlessly integrated in a single dashboard (also accessible on mobile devices, including iPads!), which will be key for both employees and management – with all data stored in the cloud.
If a sales team member is performing poorly, they can instantly be connected with relevant training materials. If a sales team member is performing exceptionally, you can instantly start training them for leadership positions. The result? Improving your bottom line and getting staff to the next level. The app will also offer opportunities for getting new hires up to speed, integrated customer support, and new work processes at your fingertips.
