Caterina Fake Says Goodbye to Hunch

Hunch co-founder, Caterina Fake, is leaving the 3 year old startup. Partially because the company is changing direction and she feels her skills are no longer needed. But more importantly is the relationship with her co-founder, Chris Dixon, which apparently has degraded to a point they no longer want to work together. Fake will remain an advisor to the company.

Technically, Fake will remain involved with the company as an “advisor.” But that’ll just be PR. Though she may sometimes rep the company in the media, her day-to-day work with the company will end.

The second major reason Fake is leaving the company is that her personal relationship with Hunch cofounder Chris Dixon reached a breaking point earlier this year. We understand the relationship has since grown cordial, but irreparable.
