Check a Site’s Loading Time and Mobile-Friendliness with ‘Think With Google’

People are most likely to leave the website if the page does not load in 3 seconds. This is the reason the most webmasters are concerned and working on it in their free time. Google has launched its new tool “Think with Google” in partnership with Huge to help you test site performance including website’s mobile friendliness and loading time across all devices.

Website Score Think with GoogleYou need to put the URL in the tool and Think with Google grades the performance of the site on a scale from 1 to 100. This tool analyses HTML, CSS, scripts and images to check how much your website is optimized for desktop and mobile device.

Google claims that an average of a half percent of people leave the site due to lazy loading website. In this case, the site is ranked on a lower scale.

Paradoxically, even this tool takes more than three seconds to test the website, but due to concerns of webmasters about people behavior it is worth to analyze how your site rates. You can also evaluate the site result and find areas where your site lacks.

Evaluate Performance with Think with Google

After the emergence of smartphones, about 70 percent of people have shifted from desktop to smartphones. Google claimed on its blog while announcing this new tool:

“On average, people check their phones more than 150 times a day, and more searches occur on mobile phones than computers. But if a potential customer is on a phone, and a site isn’t easy to use, they’re five times more likely to leave.”
