If you’re a developer, you probably are very familiar with Sweet Labs, a San Diego-based startup that launched in a coffee shop 4 years ago by developers for developers. Last June, they launched Pokki, a platform that enables web developers to create desktop apps using standard web languages like HTML 5; they are funded by Google Ventures, Intel Capital, O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Co-founder and CMO Chester Ng stopped by our SXSW #StartupLife Celebration Saturday, where he talked a lot about the startup life, comparing it to a roller coaster ride – “It is exhilarating, exhausting, fun, scary, and it builds character.” Here’s the video:
