The Washington, D.C.-based Contactually premiered today a new feature on its customer relationship management tool that will give companies and organizations the ability to look at the overall performance and health of their key business relationships.
Contactually’s already-popular social CRM tool helps individuals at companies to form, develop, and maintain professional relationships by automatically prompting them to follow-up on contacts. The new feature – called “Insights” – will provide teams with a greater level of transparency into their various shared relationships. With Insights, organizations can now get a wider view on all the individual engagements happening with key relationships and helps them to pinpoint areas of improvement. Using the Insights tool, teams can look at the progress and historical performance of individual users. This data-driven overview gives companies a better way to target their weaknesses and to create smarter strategies for managing their various business relationships.
“Insights was highly in demand from our users from very early on,” said Contactually cofounder and CEO Zvi Band. “Users and teams wanted clear insights into their performance, and transparency has always been important to us.”
According to Band, Insights has been in development for three months, but they’ve had the idea for about a year. By introducing this new feature to Contactually’s CRM, the company hopes to gain further adoption from other organizations not already using the platform. Contactually is currently being used by more than 7,500 customers across 100 countries, from small businesses to large regional brokerages. Last November, the company raised an additional $2 million in its seed round, having raised a total of $3.5 million from investors like 500 Startups, Middleland Capital, and Point Nine Capital.
