Every year Pittsburgh, PA host the Annual Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) Annual Meeting and Expo. In its twenty fifth year of operation, the event expects to see more than 2,000 industry business leaders, manufacturers, investors, researchers, elected officials, engineers, and public sector participants as they explore the bridges to innovation through ITS technologies.
It’s also cohosted alongside the ITS Pennsylvania State Chapter, and features keynote speeches and panel discussions with the industry’s premier thought leaders as well as rising stars. Attendees will get the opportunity to experience the latest transportation innovations through interactive demonstrations, a bustling exhibit hall, technical tours, and networking events.
Cubic Transportation Systems, a major player in the ITS market, today announced that they’ll send three representatives to participate in various panels at the event this year. The Cubic ambassadors will discuss leading technology solutions currently available to help address state and local transportation challenges.
In addition to Larry Yermack, the strategic advisor for Cubic, Daniel Collins and Phil Silver will both be in attendance. Collins and Silver, however, are affiliated with one of Cubic’s subsidiaries Urban Insights.
“In alignment with Cubic’s NextCity vision, we understand the importance of bringing together the latest innovations in transportation, technology and actionable information for faster and more reliable methods of travel,” says Matt Cole, Executive Vice President of strategy and business development at Cubic. “As part of ITS America’s Leadership Circle, we continue to push forward with cutting-edge intelligent transportation solutions to simplify the daily lives of travelers everywhere.”
