David Tisch’s Stealthy JelloLabs Will Launch in “A Couple Months”

We learned in January that TechStars NYC cofounder David Tisch was working on JelloLabs, a stealthy startup that wants to make the mobile shopping experience better. Two months later, he’s still not saying much.

But Tisch did reveal at SXSW that JelloLabs will be launching later this year, in a couple months. He said that JelloLabs will help consumers connect with brands (somehow), and that they’re not just replicating the offline or web shopping experience and putting it on mobile.

In addition to JelloLabs, Tisch is the managing partner at BoxGroup, an angel fund in NYC. He sat down with us at our SXSW Startup Celebration sponsored by .CO and CEA to talk about JelloLabs, as well as what TechStars looks for in startups, whether to bootstrap, and why he loves hoodies. Here’s the video.

Editor’s Note: Thank you to .CO and CEA, sponsors of Tech Cocktail’s 2014 SXSW Startup Celebration!
