Way to start 2015! Diapers.com will give free diapers to the first baby of 2015 and free rides home to new parents from Manhattan hospitals through January 31.

Diapers.com provides users with overnight delivery of baby care essentials, announced today that it will give a year of free diapers (a $599 value) to the first 2015 baby born in New York City along with free rides home (up to $50) to all families that welcome newborns at Manhattan hospitals through January 31, 2015 with its “Baby’s First Ride Home” program.

More than three quarters of Manhattan households do not own a car, making it difficult to get home from the hospital, especially during the cold winter months.

“Feedback from parents about our program has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Maria Renz, CEO at Quidsi, which operates Diapers.com.

The company initially launched the program on December 10th and, after a great response, is extending the program to include the much-celebrated New Year’s babies.  Parents interested in the program can contact the Diapers.com on their day of discharge to receive a $50 Lyft credit to use towards their baby’s first ride home from the hospital.
