Dulce Candy, one of the most-followed digital influencers in women’s beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, announced the launch of her new community-focused content site, DulceCandy.com.  Dulce Candy Tejeda Ruiz is a leading beauty and fashion influencer and the first recipient of the 2015 Hispanicize Latinovator Award.

One of the most-followed digital influencers, Dulce has a reach of 4 million followers across various social networks, with nearly 2 million subscribers to her YouTube videos alone. She has worked with several notable brands such as L’Oréal, Kohl’s, and Macy’s to create customized content for her community, and she has been featured in numerous well-known publications including Allure, Seventeen, and Style Watch. She has even appeared on Good Morning America.

“Dulce personifies the growing breed of Latino Millennials who through their impressive digital influence are using their voices and talents to put their stamp on culture and commerce,” said Hispanics event founder and creative director Manny Ruiz. “In this sixth year of Hispanicize, a year that features the prestigious Tecla Awards for Latino digital achievements and the largest gathering of Hispanic digital influencers in the nation, honoring Dulce with the Latinovator Award could not be more fitting.”

Fans are eager to share and engage with influencers, so it’s notable that Dulce has created her own community-focused site where her fans will be able to interact with her and each other. And, when they contribute and share content, they can be rewarded for it as well. The site will feature curated and original content from the community.

Every individual action taken by members of the community is rewarded, and the community stats are displayed on a public leaderboard. Dulce’s new site will strengthen her community by creating a place where everyone can be a creator, not just a consumer. This is a really interesting way to curate content, similar to the way that Reddit does for the broader internet community. On Dulce Candy, the community will be able to publish their own work for social amplification and consumption. And as mentioned, upvotes may result in physical rewards like makeup, accessories, and other products.

Today, Dulce also revealed the presale for her first book, where she will share success tips with her fans. Book tours will be scheduled around the release of the book, planned for August.
