According to a recent blog post by DC-based AddThis, Facebook sharing is down 11% globally from the previous year (using their data).  Although still the dominant sharing platform, accounting for 42% of the shares across the web (including both shares and likes), Facebook has taken it’s first downward turn after increasing 18% from 2011 to 2012.  Blogger and Reddit were the only other services to see a bigger downward turn.

Pinterest, however, saw the greatest increase, up 50% from the year before.
