If you are really into music, check out this clever new startup: Vancouver-based Shirtify will send you t-shirts from your favorite bands based on what you listen to on music streaming platforms like Pandora, Spotify, Last.fm, or Rdio.
It’s win-win for everyone – artists, who get paid in full – and you – who get to show off your Atlas Genius, Stevenson Ranch Davidians, or Gotye t-shirt before most people have even heard of the them.
Here’s how it works: once you sign up, Shirtify will send you a friend request to your online music streaming service of choice. Once they start tracking your listening history, they can pick a band from your favorite artists. If you listen to more than one music streaming service, no worries – you can email them and let them know.
You can get a 3 shirt sampler for $99 or sign up for a subscription – quarterly is $12/month and monthly is $35/month. If you are a big music fan, those prices are pretty good. If you try it out, let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.
