‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ is Better in Lego Form [VIDEO]

I know close to nothing about Fifty Shades of Grey, aside from the widely-held belief that (despite its mass popularity) it’s a horribly written piece of modern fiction targeted at our innate human lechery. I also know that Jamie Dornan is super hot, and that seeing him in the movie is really the only motivation I have for watching it. Honestly, watching the original trailer for the movie, I was too captivated by his good looks to pay attention to whether the trailer was actually good. It doesn’t matter, though, because the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer in Lego is the only thing you need to see.

Sex is great. Legos are great. So, naturally, YouTube user Antonio Toscano blended those two things and created the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer made with all Legos. The trailer features the same characters and storyline presented in the original Fifty Shades trailer – just replicated by Lego characters in a Lego world. This isn’t the first time that Toscano has recreated movie trailers into Lego form; indeed, Toscano (under his YouTube channel Toscano Bricks) is renowned specifically for these Lego recreations (check out his Lego trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy).

In its second week in theaters, Fifty Shades of Grey is still doing well at the box office – expected to hit $131 million in its tenth day. During the Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend, the movie took in an impressive $85 million at the box office. But, whatever, I don’t care about how well the movie’s doing – I don’t think I’ll be seeing it anytime soon. Based on the Lego form of the Fifty Shades trailer, I think I’d much rather prefer to see the full-length movie in all Legos.
